Tree Plantation Drive

Tree Plantation Drive - Trees are our lungs and we can never have too many of those. So, in a beautification drive and as a measure to increase the green cover in Chandelao, 500 trees were planted around the local lake. And in an attempt to help and preserve the ecosystem, only local indigenous flora was planted. The project also involved cutting and getting rid of weeds and wild acacia trees. These trees lend a picturesque frame to an already scenic and quaint lake.
